Yesterday, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research at Umm Al-Qura University participated in the ‘Aminoun’ [We Are Safe] Exhibition launched by the Director-General of Public Security, Lt. Gen Khalid bin Qarar Al-Harbi, at Al-Rajhi Endowments in Makkah. The exhibition was organized by Makkah Police for the third consecutive year under the slogan ‘Hajj is a Form of Worship and a Civilized Behavior.’ The exhibition witnessed the participation of thirty-three governmental and service bodies providing their services for the pilgrims, and was attended by a number of Hajj Security Commanders.

Lt. Gen Khalid Al-Harbi expressed his pride in the security integration he has seen between all sectors in the third exhibition, which reflects the level of care and services provided to pilgrims. This is in line with the due concern given by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz (may Allah safeguard them), to the pilgrims, and in accordance with the directives of the Minister of Interior to achieve an umbrella of security, safety, convenience, and stability for the pilgrims.

He confirmed that the security leaders are ready to serve the pilgrims and work day and night to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of pilgrims on their journey of faith. They request the support of Allah, and then the wise leadership, which spares no effort to make the visit of pilgrims to this holy land a comfortable one until their departure to their countries in health and safety. He then prayed for Allah the Almighty to grant everyone success in doing that which He loves and that which pleases Him.

The supervisor of the pavilion and the head of the institute's Department of Research and Media Affairs, Uthman Qazaz, said that the institute's participation included old and new photos of Makkah, the Holy Mosque, and the Mas`a (place designated for Sa`y). He said their participation also included examples of the quality studies which have become projects of significant benefit to pilgrims. He also praised the institute's dean, Dr. Basim Qadi, for his decision to participate in such events, as this confirms the research and consultancy role carried out by the institute in the different forums and meetings.

The Director of Makkah Police, Major General Fahd bin Mutlaq Al-Usaimi, said the exhibition will continue until the 9th of Dul-Hijjah and will receive visitors from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. He noted that the exhibition presents various messages for all segments of the community and the pilgrims, and highlights the efforts exerted by the relevant bodies in the service and comfort of the pilgrims in line with the directives and aspirations of the wise leadership. He also praised the role of the participating bodies and their enthusiasm in their interactions with the exhibition to reflect a bright picture of this blessed country in serving the pilgrims and in achieving their comfort.
