Institute of Consulting Research and Studies Participates in Saudi Health Simulation Conference 2016

The Continuing Medical Education and Training Unit at the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies at Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) participated in the Saudi Health Simulation Conference 2016 at Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh. The event was sponsored by HE Minister of Health and organized by the Human Resources Agency.

UQU participation in the conference was under the umbrella of its training methodology to establish strong relations with all health sectors and experts that served KSA Vision 2030, and to demonstrate its role in the service of health and training sectors. It is worth mentioning that the conference aimed at building national capacities in the domain of health simulation and sharing of expertise with the internationally and regionally recognized healthcare institutions.

In the same context, Dr. Ali Al-Shaeri, Dean of Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, praised the participation of the Continuing Medical Education and Training Unit affiliates as representative of UQU at such conference. He noted that such participation stems from UQU’s role in the communication with all health sectors to demonstrate such role. He also pointed out that the conference comprised national and international experts and specialists in various domains. He extended deep thanks to the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Bakri Assas, and Dr. Nabil bin Abdulqader Koshak, UQU Vice-President for Cognitive Work and Creativity, for their support, attention, intensive follow up, and continuous care for the success of all the activities of the Institute.
