On Thursday, 20 Sha`ban, 1440 A.H., under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, Umm Al-Qura University launched a workshop entitled, "The University's General Curriculum Development According to the Vision 2030". 

The workshop was held at the Four Points Hotel in Makkah, and was organized by the University's Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs in collaboration with the Department of Public Relations and Media. 

It was attended by the deans and vice deans of the colleges, and included two discussion sessions: The first was entitled, "The Blue Ocean", and the second was entitled, "Value Tree Analysis for the Beneficiaries". The two sessions received overwhelming support and interaction from the audience.
