Dean, Admission and Registeration Prof. Hashem bin Ahmed Al-Samadani has thanked President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas for appointing him as new dean.
He pledged support to students, saying the deanship is a key section of the university that provides care for students from day one until graduation. The deanship is keen on providing all services to create a preferable environment for study.
Professor Al-Samadani asserted that the deanship would create a mechanism to cut short the admission process by dropping additional steps to seek academic procedures from the day of admission to graduation ceremony.
The mechanism is expected to provide results for the students via mail. Cutting edge technology would be deployed to carry out the academic procedures.
According Al-Samadani, the new plans includes addition and omission online in cooperation with the IT Deanship.
In addition, he says, powers would be granted in cooperation with colleges and department to serve students and make sure they are distributed to sections in the first week of study.
