Concluding Events of the First Week of the Summer Training Program for Teachers at the College of Education

The events of the first training week came to a conclusion. This training week was part of the summer training program for the male and female teachers at the Ministry of Education that was organized by the College of Education, in partnership with the National Center for Professional Education Development. As part of the events, 300 teachers attended 32 training programs, which were organized by the College of Education this week. The events witnessed remarkable attendance and great interaction on the part of the trainees.

On his part, the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Ali bin Muslih Al-Matrifi, stressed that these training programs are conducted by academics specialized in educational sciences. They present a series of peer-reviewed training packages designed to improve and develop the teaching practices of teachers. He applauded the keenness of the regular attendees of these training programs to achieve professional development and to continue to boost their expertise and keep abreast with the latest developments in the field, lauding their attendance and participation.

Moreover, His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Muslih Al-Matrifi commended the generous support extended by His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of the UQU, by harnessing the university's full human and technical potential to guarantee the success of the training program and add to the success of UQU, allowing it to assume its leading role in the field of educational programs. Lastly, His Excellency thanked the developers of the training packages, trainers, trainees, members of the supervising committee of the program, in both the male and female sections, employees and staff for their efforts and follow-up around the clock in order for the program to be presented in the manner planned.
