The Consulting Studies and Research Institute at Umm Al-Qura University represented by the Training and Continuing Medical Education Unit organized the first workshop following the inauguration ceremony with the deans and coordinators of the medical colleges in an endeavor to set works mechanisms and plans for the coming period.
The workshop started with a welcome speech by the Dean of the Consulting Studies and Research Institute Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari who welcomed the deans and coordinators of the medical colleges and congratulated them on the launching of this unit.
After that, the Supervisor General of the Continuing Medical Training and Education Unit, Dr. Ayman Al-Jawhar delivered speech which he explained to the audience the nature of the work of the unit and its future plans.
Then, the mechanism of the work of the unit was discussed with the deans and coordinators of the medical colleges and the opportunity was given to everyone to introduce their future ideas and visions for the unit and process of work in it.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the ideas were written down, the recommendations were set and the date of the second meeting was defined.
On his part, the Dean of the Consulting Studies and Research Dr. Ali Al-Shaari said that the unit enjoys continuous support from the President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas. He also lauded the interest and follow-up of the UQU Vice President for Business and Innovation, Dr. Nabil bin AbdulQadir Koshak.
