His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, has issued an administrative decision, based on the decision of the Minister of Education, appointing His Excellency Dr. Yusuf bin Samil bin Suwaimal Al-Sulami as Dean of the College of Arabic Language and Literature for a tenure of two years, from 20 Shawwal, 1440 A.H. His Excellency Prof. Abdullah asks Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to help Dr. Yusuf and grant him success in performing his duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of the university to enable it to reach its ultimate objectives.

His Excellency's decision is part of the comprehensive developmental activity that the university is witnessing in all fields. It is also part of the university's earnest endeavors to achieve its goals, fulfill its vision, and accomplish its future mission in order for it to be a pioneer in terms of its various programs and activities, which are in harmony with Saudi Vision 2030.
