Umm Al-Qura University
The College of Medicine at Umm Al-Qura University has honored its cleaning staff, who had a prominent role in the preparation of all the subsidiary facilities, in accordance with health requirements and standards.
More than 100 cleaning workers have been honored during the past few days. His Excellency the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Abdul-Salam Nur Wali, honored 50 male employees and 53 female employees of the college, including administrators, external collaborators and technicians in return for their efforts. This took place in the college celebrations hall, in the presence of the college vice deans and its managing director, Hisham Al-Afghani.
Dr. Abdul-Salam Nur Wali pointed out that this initiative is a tribute to all the employees who have contributed to the successes and development of the college through their work within the "one team" system.
The college includes the following departments: Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Anatomy, Microbiology, Parasitology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Community Medicine, Hematology and Immunology, Internal Medicine, Medical Genetics, Physiology, Biochemistry, General Surgery, Medical Education, Orthopedic Surgery, Ophthalmology, and ENT. The College of Medicine seeks, through these departments, to develop its various academic programs, improve scientific outputs and personnel in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and to achieve the aspirations and strategies of the college and the university in general.
