His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), has issued an administrative decision to appoint His Excellency Prof. Omar bin Abdullah bin Hussein Al-Hazzazi as the dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College as of 28 Sha`ban 1440 A.H., in addition to his current work.

His Excellency the President of UQU praised the strenuous efforts exerted by the former dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, His Excellency Prof. Yassin Al-Zubaidi, since assuming the duties of the deanship of the college. He pointed to his brilliant acts of generosity, which have had the greatest impact on the advancement of the university, after the success bestowed by Allah the Almighty, and then the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques (May Allah protect him).

His Excellency the President of UQU congratulated Prof. Omar Al-Hazzazi on the occasion of his appointment as dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, stressing the necessity of exerting strenuous efforts and hard work for the development of works in the college and wishing him success and progression.

His Excellency Prof. Omar Al-Hazzazi expressed appreciation for the trust place in him by His Excellency the UQU President in appointing him as dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College. He affirmed that he will, with Allah's help, meet the expectations and trust of His Excellency the UQU President, praising the efforts exerted by the former dean, His Excellency Dr. Yassin Al-Zubaidi. He said that he will work to develop these efforts to be in harmony with Saudi Vision 2030, and in accordance with the National Transformation Plan 2020.
