The College of Arabic Language at Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) said that it has carried out 25 activities during the academic year 1439/1440 A.H., including scientific lectures and training programs, which have benefited a large number of UQU academic staff members and students and a number of primary, intermediate, and secondary schools teachers.
This was said during the concluding ceremony yesterday, Tuesday, under the patronage of His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, at King Abdulaziz supporting hall in honor of the college's academic staff, personnel, and students who participated in the activities.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Yusuf Al-Sulami, said that the ceremony was held to acknowledge the achievements of the college throughout the previous academic year, and to honor all college personnel who contributed to the success of the events and the training programs. He added that the college pays great attention to the students' creative sides to motivate them to exert more effort in this area.
Dr. Al-Sulami expressed his thanks to the president of Umm Al-Qura University for his continuing support to achieve the college's mission and future aspirations, and ensuring the success of scientific partnerships at the regional level.
