Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) today, Saturday, concluded its participation in the Eighth Session of the International Exhibition and Conference on Higher Education (IECHE) which was held in Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC) in Riyadh. The event was held during the period from 5 till 8 Sha`ban 1440 A.H., under the slogan, “Transformation of the Saudi Universities in the Era of Change”, and with the participation of more than 300 local and international universities.

Umm Al-Qura University was represented in the International Exhibition and Conference on Higher Education (IECHE) by its president, His Excellency Prof. Abdullah Bafail, in addition to the vice presidents, the deans of the deanships for postgraduate studies and scientific research, the male and female vice deans of the deanships, the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office, the Deanship of Scientific Research, the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Education, the Deanship of Admission and Registration, and the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies. This was in addition to the University Vice Presidency for Female Student Affairs, Wadi Makkah Co. for technology, the College of Designs, the Department of Public Relations and Media, and the Media Center.

It is worth mentioning that the participation of Umm Al-Qura University in the eighth session of the exhibition was distinguished by the display of the experiences gained by its different administrations and deanships, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
