The Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Researches and Advisory Studies Institute currently works on launching the “Jahez” (Ready) program for training the recently-graduated engineers, and qualifying them for the labor market. The Program involves training course specialized in the engineering fields for preparing qualified national cadres, contributing to the national development wheel.
Still, Dr. Ali ibn Mohammed Alsha’ari, the Researches and Advisory Studies Institute dean, pointed out that the Program comes as part of the Institute’s plans aiming at fulfilling the objectives of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision. He also emphasized that such specialized training programs hugely draw the fresh engineers as they qualify them to meet the recognized professional standards through developing their capacities and talents, as well as having them gain the professional skills and developing them according to high quality plans.
By the same token, Dr. Alsha’ari added that the Program is among the initiatives of the Development and Engineering Training Unit in partnership with the private sector. And it goes with the directives of Dr. Bajri bin Maatouq Assas, the UQU president, meant for supporting the country’s young men working as engineers. He further noted that the Unit is to be opened within the next days.
Dr. Alsha’ari concluded his speech with extending thanks to Dr. Bakri ibn Maatouq Assas, the UQU president, and Dr. Nabil Abdul-Qadir Kushuk; the Work and Knowledge Innovation vice president, for their conscientious follow-up and their constant dedication to supporting the Institute and the programs it implements in service of this country.
