Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers at Umm Al-Qura University, and in coordination with the Saudi Embassy in Nigeria and Ahmadu Bello University, holds the course entitled, 'The Legal and Cultural Course for Judges and Teachers', in Zarya, Kano State. The course takes place from 23 to 27 Rajab, 1440 A.H.
According to the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Hasan Bukhari, it is the second time this course has been held. It aims to consolidate pride in the Islamic identity, strengthen the scientific capacity of the students, and consolidate the importance of developing the Arabic language and its impact on identity formation and stability.
The delegation of the institute included its dean, Dr. Ahmad Al-Darubi, as well as Dr. Maymun Al-Salmi, Dr. Abdul-Mun`im Asrar, Muhammad Bahmadi, and Khalid Al-Sahli.During the course, a number of religious activities were presented. In addition, the institute's team visited the Center for Islamic Legal Studies at Ahmadu Bello University to enhance cooperation and communication with Umm Al-Qura University. They were received by the Director of the Center and the Dean of the College of Shari`ah, Prof. Ahmad Uthman, a number of the academic staff of the center, and some graduates of Umm Al Qura University and the Islamic University in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
