The UQU Vice President for Academic Development and Community Service, Dr. Hani bin Othman Ghazi, has stated that the Houthi's notorious act will be avenged. The Houthis, their supporters and agents, will pay it dearly. The Islamic Holy Shrines are a red line not to be crossed by any means. This will not be accepted nor allowed by the leaders and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We, citizens of this blessed country, are fully ready to sacrifice our souls to protect our Islamic shrines and national soil.
He made clear that such notorious acts will have gross reverberations at the levels of both the Islamic region, and the world as a whole. Meanwhile, he called upon the international community to take a resolute stand against such rash acts, and to force this rogue militia to avoid such wicked acts that offend the Islamic world by large, as well as compelling them to abide by the international resolutions aiming at preserving integrity of the Yemeni territory, and allowing the Yemeni people to live in peace.
