His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the UQU President, will open a symposium organized by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Chair for Studies on the History of Makkah at Umm Al-Qura University which is entitled, "The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques:. Achievement in the Face of Challenge and the Future", on Wednesday, 6 Rajab, 1440 A.H. The symposium will be held at King Abdul Aziz Historical Hall.
In the symposium, the President of Jouf University, Dr. Ismail bin Muhammad Al-Bishri, will deliver a speech entitled, "Education and the Challenge of the Future According to the Views of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud". His Excellency Dr. Abdul-Rahman bin Ali bin Salih Al-Shibaili, former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, will deliver a speech entitled, "Impact of the Family Composition of King Salman bin Abdulaziz in the Face of Challenges". Moreover, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Rabi`i, a faculty member at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, will deliver a speech entitled, "King Salman and Employing History in His Internal and External Policy".
On his part, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shareef, a Chair Professor at King Salman bin Abdulaziz Chair for Studies on the History of Makkah, declared that this symposium seeks to document the great achievements of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, highlight distinct leadership qualities in his actions, policies and strategies, and underline his capabilities (may Allah preserve him) thanks to his accumulated experience, wisdom and knowledge of international variables that equip him to be able to attain great achievements, face the regional and international challenges, and shape the future.
