Dr. Sami Barahmain, the Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research at Umm Al-Qura University, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 19th Meeting for Hajj and Umrah Research, revealed that there is an increase by 263% in the number of work papers of the current session (40 papers) from last year (11 research papers).
Dr. Barahmain said that the number of work papers that were reviewed and accepted by the scientific committee of the conference amounted to 50 scientific papers. That is an increase by 9% from the last year's Meeting, which amounted to 46 reviewed papers.
The Dean of the Institute, Dr. Sami Barahmain, pointed out that the increase in the work papers received by the Scientific Committee of the19th Meeting for Hajj and Umrah Research is evidence of the importance of the participation of concerned bodies relevant to the service of pilgrims.
Moreover, the Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research at Umm Al-Qura University stressed that this Meeting is held annually, alternately between Makkah and Madinah. It aims at highlighting the Saudi Kingdom's efforts in serving the pilgrims based on the accumulated scientific experience in the Institute and other concerned bodies relevant to the system of Hajj and Umrah.
