His Excellency Dr. Jabir bin Sa`id Al-Zahrani, the Dean of the College of Engineering and the College of Computer Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah, visited the General Directorate of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah governorate on Tuesday, 14 Jumada Al-Thani, 1440 A.H. He was received by the Director of Health Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Gharawi.

During the meeting, areas of cooperation between the two Colleges of Engineering and Computer Sciences from one side and the Directorate of Health Affairs from the other side were discussed. They discussed matters related to field visits as well as training the students of the two colleges in managing projects, maintenance, and information technology. The meeting also dealt with offering training courses, and the exchange of experience in health matters with regard to carrying out educative and health programs for the students and the affiliates of the two colleges: engineering and computer sciences. This meeting was a preliminary step toward signing an agreement and a memorandum of understanding between the two colleges and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah.

His Excellency the Dean, Dr. Jabir Al-Zahrani, was accompanied by the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Baghdadi, two academic staff members from the Department of Industrial Engineering in the College of Engineering, Dr. Ayman Al-Fatih and Dr. Ahmad Al-Husaini, and the Head of the Department of Information Systems in the College of Computer Sciences, Eng. Eissa Al-Maharish.

At the end of the meeting, Her Excellency the Dean of the two colleges thanked the Director of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah governorate, Dr. Abdullah Al-Gharawi, for the welcoming reception and fruitful cooperation between the College of Engineering and the General Directorate of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah. These efforts will serve the governorate, and endorse the principle of cooperation and integration between the governmental bodies and institutions and the Saudi Vision of 2030.
