The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies at Umm Al-Qura University launched the first stage of reviewing academic programs yesterday through the e-workflows of the department heads. The Dean of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Sa`id Al-Harithi, explained that this stage is designed to ensure that the programs fulfill all the observations of the reviewers by the academic staff of the postgraduate program (high diploma - master's degree - PhD).

Al-Harithi pointed out that the reviewer's notes for each program can be accessed through the program account via e-services, clicking the e-workflows icon, reading the observations posted by the reviewers, amending them in the program in form 102 that is available in Word. When completed, the 102 form is resubmitted and the assessment form is sent through the system.

Al-Harithi stressed the importance of applying the notes within 14 days through a number of procedural operations. The project of updating and developing postgraduate studies programs is in line with the strategic plan of the university, which is in conformity with Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020.
