Wadi Makkah Startups Participate in GITEX Tech week 2016

Wadi Makkah Startups have attracted the attention of the visitors of the GITEX Tech week 2016,  one of the largest trading events in Dubai the gateway for global brands to access the Middle East, one of the fastest emerging investment ready Information, and Communications Technology (ICT) market.


Wadi Makkah startups have participated with all their innovative products which were widely acclaimed by the visitors in the first day of the exhibition which will last up to October 20th, 2016.  

Many investors also visited the pavilion of Wadi Makkah Startups and listened to an elaborate presentation on the innovative products of Wadi Makkah Startups including; Loris and Core Blue by Averos Company, Naveez product by NaviVees Company, lucidya product by Lucidya Company, Tawseel application by Tawseel Company, Manasikna product by Smart Hajj Company and BioKubes by BioKubes Company and etc.. 


Meanwhile, the UQU Vice President for Business and Innovation, who serves also as the Deputy Chairman of Wadi Makkah Technology Company, Dr. Nabil Abdul-Qadir Koshak stressed keenness of Wadi Makkah Startups to participate in such pioneering forums which is considered an attractive environment for investors and an important platform to introduce the startups at the regional and international levels. He extended his thanks and appreciation to UQU President and the chairman of Wadi Makkah Technology Company,  Dr. Bakri Assas  for his great concern and interest in Wadi Makkah which is the launching pad of innovation and research-based startups. 

 

For his part, the Chief Executive Officer of Wadi Makkah Technology Company Dr. Osama bin Rashid Al-Amri said this international forum provides an opportunity for Wadi Makkah startups to exchange expertise with the founders of startups from all over the world and to meet many investors and clients. He expressed his proudness for the success of a number of Wadi Makkah startups in attracting various investors from in and outside the Kingdom.
