Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers Celebrates the Conclusion of the 'Safeer Skills Program'

The Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers celebrated the conclusion of the 'Safeer Skills Program' last Wednesday at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Hall, in Al-Aziziyyah. The program was concerned with training and qualifying foreign students, from different countries, in some scientific, social, administrative, skillful and Da`wah related matters. It aims at giving the students of the Institute practical training. The ceremony was sponsored by Dr. Abdulaziz Suruji, the Vice-President of the University for Educational Affairs.

The Institute was able, throughout the period of one complete semester and in collaboration with the Charity Fund for Scholarship Student Support and Bonyan Training Company, to offer 12 training courses, each course lasting five hours. The total number of training hours was 60 hours, offered to 60 male students and 30 female students. The program also included workshops and fields visits for trainees. Prominent students and those who attained high scores in the training courses and the practical programs were honored during the ceremony.

The Dean of the Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers, His Eminence Dr. Hasan Bukhari, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the Charity Fund for Scholarship Student Support for its noble sponsorship of the 'Safeer Skills Program'. He praised the care of His Excellency the President of the University and the Vice-Presidents of the University in providing all possible means to support foreign students who came to the University from all over the globe. The Vice-President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdulaziz Suruji, commended the great role and the marvelous efforts exerted by the Institute in teaching Arabic Language to non-native speakers, and in offering special programs to the students coming from all the corners of the world.
