The Deputy Emir of Al-Madinah, HRH Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, yesterday visited the pavilion of King Salman Chair for Studies on the History of Makkah, of Umm Al-Qura University, in the Emirate of Makkah Province Pavilion at the National Festival for Heritage and Culture in Al-Janadriyah 33.
He inspected the scientific publications of the Chair that are represented in 21 books. He also viewed historical pictures of Makkah and the Holy Sites in the past and present, and pictures of the kings of Saudi Arabia in Makkah and at the sacred sites. In concluding his visit to the pavilion, he expressed his appreciation for the scientific efforts of the Chair.
The Professor of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Chair for Studies on the History of Makkah, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sharif, presented a memorial gift to HRH Prince Saud bin Khalid that included a variety of publications of King Salman's Chair for Studies on the History of Makkah
The Chair's participation in the National Festival for Heritage and Culture in Al- Janadriyah 33 aims at introducing its objectives, programs and achievements.
