Dr. Samr ibn Hemdan Alharbi, the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research vice presidency, chaired the workshop organized by the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Deanship about the Deanship’s final version for the initiatives of fulfilling the Kingdom’s vision 2030, part of the National Transition Program. the workshop was held at the Deanship’s meeting hall in the dormitory in Alabidiah. Present were the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Dean, Dr. Saleh ibn Abudllah Alfraih, vice deanships and TV-based Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research female vice deputiesin Alzahir.

Dr. Samr pointed out that the workshop aims at setting the final version for the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Deanship’s initiatives for vision 2030. This is meant to develop the higher education, boost up the scientific research movement and encourage innovation in a manner that suits the available capabilities at the University; to the effect that the results of such initiatives achieve the objectives of the National Transition Program 2030. 

By the same token,   Dr. Samr lauded the support the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research vice presidency receives from Dr. Bakri ibn Ma’atuq A’asas, the University president. This in turn makes the University stand out in many of the programs it delivers in the research fields and theses of the Postgraduate studies students. He further extended thanks and gratitude for the Dr. Saleh Alfreih, the postgraduate studies dean, deanship’s vice deanships and all the staff for the efforts the make.  

Similarly, Dr. Saleh ibn Abdullah Alfreih, the Postgraduate studies and Scientific Research Dean, offered thanks and gratitude to the Postgraduate studies and Scientific Research Vice President for opening this workshop. He underlined that the Deanship take the initiative of adopting the initiatives that goes with the Kingdom’s directives and visions according to the plan 2030. He also noted that a series of workshops are to be held during this academic year to carry out the Deanship’s initiatives according to the standards and objectives the Kingdom’s plan outlined. This targets bringing about institutional, scientific activity meant for upgrading the level of the higher education at the University and advancing the level of the researches which the students do and which serve the individual and the society. 

He went on adding that the accomplishments and successes made by the Deanship resulted from the support the Deanship receives from and led to all these achievements. He finally prayed Allah the Almighty to guide us all for serving this university and putting it at forefront of the world Universities.
