Dr. Baqri ibn Ma’atuq A’asas, the Umm Al-Qura University president, received from the Dean of the Higher Institute for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, Dr. Yasser Alqahtani. The honor shield is dedicated by the Religious Affairs Department of the Saudi Royal Naval Forces.

This was part of the closing ceremony of the “Strategies of Developing the Proselytizing Skills and Intellectual Protection for the Naval Forces Religious Affairs Department Staff “Symposium. It was held at the Higher Institute for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice for three months. It was given for 25 officers of the Naval Forces Religious Affairs Department Staff from all over the Kingdom’s regions.

It is mentionable that this Program is part of the partnership struck between the Umm Al-Qura University represented by the Higher Institute for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, and the religious affairs departments at the military sectors.  The Symposium aims at upgrading and raising the trainees’ scientific, intellectual competence regarding proselytizing and intellectual protection.
