The Deanship of Student Affairs for Direction, Guidance, and Community Partnership, represented by the Volunteering Unit, launched the project of planting the yards in the female student campus at Al-Zahir, in the presence of the Vice-Dean of the University Studies for Girls, Dr. Faridah Al-Ghamdi.

The planting project is one of the agreements of social partnership projects that were signed between Umm Al-Qura University, represented by his Excellency the President of the University, and Ghadan Company for Consulting and Capacity Building. This project aims, according to the Vice-Dean of Student Affairs for Direction, Guidance and the Community Partnership, Dr. Amal Sindi, at endorsing awareness about the importance of agriculture, and increasing the green areas in the University.

Dr. Faridah Al-Ghamdi confirmed the importance of the students' participation in this project, which comes in the frame of spreading awareness and culture, maintaining the beautiful scenes of the Universities, and creating an environment that motivates the quality of giving and helping among students.
