Members of the advisory committee of the College of Nursing at Umm Al-Qura University held their first meeting on Wednesday 5 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1440 A.H. in King Faisal Hall at Al-`Abdiyyah Campus. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Ayman Jawahirji, and His Excellency the Vice-Dean of the College for Educational Affairs.
The agenda of the advisory committee included a number of general discussions about the college's most important issues, its objectives and how to achieve them, in addition to a visual presentation on the college's achievements and a video about its master's degree program.
The advisory committee declared that it is working on achieving the objectives of the College of Nursing and on providing an academic environment that is in line with the UQU vision. The college mission is to train exceptional nursing staff so as to provide society with optimal health service, and to enhance their educational, practical, and research practices.
