The College of Education, represented by the Department of Art Education, participated in the celebration of the fourth anniversary of the pledge of allegiance to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him, in King Abdul Aziz Historical Hall in Al-Abdiyyah. The celebration took place on Monday, 3 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. The celebration was held under the auspices of His Excellency the UQU President, and in the presence of the deans and vice-deans of different colleges as well as a number of university staff.
The Department of Art Education also took part in an exhibition of plastic arts accompanying the celebration, which included a number of plastic paintings covering the history of the Kingdom and the biography and achievements of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Afterwards, the University Vice-President for Branches, Dr. Abdul-Majid bin Sa`id Al-Ghamdi, honored Dr. Ali bin Muslih Al-Matrifi, the Dean of the College of Education. The Department of Art Education was then honored, including His Excellency Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Ali Fahd Al-Hijili, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Dakhilullah Al-Thaqafi, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Ali Yusuf Salih Al-Jirjawi, His Excellency Dr. Hassan Subhi Ali, and the students participating in the exhibition from the department.
