The President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, has issued 14 administrative decisions, as follows:
- Appointing Dr. Abdullah bin Mansour bin Sa`id Al-Sa`idi as Vice-Dean of the College of Business Administration for Educational Affairs for a tenure of six months as of 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., in addition to his current work as Vice-Dean of the College.
- Appointing Dr. Khalid bin Ali bin Derain Al-Marhabi as Vice-Dean of the College of Computer Science in Al-Qunfudhah for Development and Entrepreneurship for a tenure of six months as of 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.
- Reappointing Prof. Abdullah bin Hassen bin Ma`abad Al-Jabri as Head of the Islamic Economics Department at the College of Islamic Economics and Finance for a tenure of six months as of 27 Dhul-Hijjah, 1439 A.H., in addition to his current work as Vice-Dean of the College of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
- Appointing Dr. Asil bin Hatim bin Abdullah bin Sawad as Head of the Department of Drugs at the College of Pharmacy for a tenure of six months as of 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.
- Appointing Prof. Abdul-Rahim bin Omri bin Bakhit Al-Lahibi as head of the Department of Basic Sciences at Adham University College for a tenure of six months as of 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.
- Appointing Dr. Bandar bin Muhammad bin Ali Al-Rabi`i as Head of the Department of Insurance at the College of Islamic Economics and Finance for a tenure of six months as of 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.
- Reappointing Dr. Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Salim as Supervisor of the Department of Physiotherapy at the College of Applied Medical Sciences for a tenure of one year as of 25 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.
- Transferring the designation of Dr. Mashael bint Salih bin Yahya Al-Maghamri Al-Fifi from Vice-Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics for Educational Affairs (female section) to Vice-Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics (female section) as of 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. until her tenure in the Educational Affairs Deanship (female section) ends on28 Rajab, 1440 A.H.
- Appointing Dr. Amal bint Omar bin Khalil Khairo Sandi as Vice-Dean of Students Affairs for Counseling, Guidance, and Community Partnership (female section) for a tenure of six months as of 12 Safar, 1440 A.H.
- Appointing Prof. Iman bint Adnan bin Ahmad Abu Sir as Head of the Department of Epidemiology at the College of Public Health and Health Informatics for a tenure of six months as of 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.
- Reappointing Dr. Zakiah bint Salih bin Salih Al-Maliki as Deputy Director of the Islamic Education Research Center for a tenure of six months as of 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.
- Appointing Dr. Al-Anoud bint Sa`id bin Muhammad Al-Qarni as Deputy Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy (female section) for a tenure of six months as of 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.
- Reappointing Prof. Manal bint Sa`id bin Salman Al-Shihri as Deputy Head of the Department of Marketing at the College of Business Administration (female section) for a tenure of six months as of 21 Safar, 1440 A.H.
- Appointing Dr. Hanaa bint Abdul-Rahim bin Muhammad Yamani as deputy to the general supervisor of the Department of Educational Services (female section) for a tenure of one year as of 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., in addition to her current work as Vice-Dean of E-Learning and Distance Education (female section).
