President of Umm Al Qura University Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas on Monday Muharram 2, 1438 H launched the training courses provided for the members of the teaching staff for the first academic  semester of the academic year 1437/1438 H, in the presence of UQU Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi, the Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Faisal bin Ahmed Al-Alaf and the Vice Dean of  Scientific Research for Research Chairs Dr. Abdul Wahab bin Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Rseni.
 
The 1st program aims at building research capacities for the new female researchers (the holders of doctoral degree within less than two years)

 The 2nd program aims at improving skills of harnessing technology in research. The two programs last for 16 training hours each  during Muharram and Safar months. These courses will take place under the supervision of the Vice Deanship of Scientific Research for Quality and Development.
