President of Umm Al Qura University Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas held a meeting with the Vice President for Postgraduate studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi, the Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Faisal bin Ahmed Al-Alaf, the Dean of Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari  and the Vice Dean of Scientific Research for Research Chairs Dr. Abdul Wahab bin Abdullah bin Saleh Al-rseni, on Monday Muharram 2nd , 1438 H. The meeting discussed a number of topics related to the research chairs in the university and reviewed future plans of these chairs in light of the new regulation which guarantees quality of the outcomes of these chairs together with the flexibility of work.  

 
Meanwhile, Dr. Assas lauded the future plans of the Deanship of Scientific Research related to the research chairs. He also lauded the effective and significant role undertaken by these research chairs during the last period.  

 
For his part, the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamir Al-Harbi extended his thanks to the UQU President for his continued support and care of the plans and activities of the research chairs.
