The President of Umm Al-Qura University, His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, on Sunday, Rabi` Al-Awwal 10, 1440 A.H., corresponding to November 18, 2018 A.C., honored his Excellency Prof. Khalid Abdul-Wajid Muhammad, the Professor of Nuclear Physics, his Excellency Dr. Ramadan Ali Hasan, the Assistant Professor of Medical Physics, and her Excellency Dr. Tasnim Malik Azim, the Assistant Professor of Light, for their marvelous efforts in activating the e-learning system in the best ten academic affiliates at Umm Al-Qura University.

The College of Applied Sciences, in addition to two other colleges, won the award of the best three colleges in the University in contributing to the production of the best exemplary e-course. The e-course was in Physics: the Advanced Theoretical Methods course, which was prepared by his Excellency Prof. Khalid Abdul-Majid Muhammad.

The Head of the Physics Department, Dr. Salih Marzuq Al-Luqmani, congratulated his colleagues who won the award, and supplicated Allah to grant all the academic affiliates at the Department constant success and distinction.
