The seventh 'My University Is Part of the Holy Land' program at Umm Al-Qura University was held under the slogan 'All Regions of Makkah are Part of the Holy Land'. The program was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs for Direction, Guidance, and Community Partnership, in cooperation with the Hajir program of the 'Glorification of the Holy Land' project. The activities of the program were held in the presence of Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudy, the Dean of University Studies for Girls, on behalf of the University Vice President for Student Affairs; Dr. Amal bint Omar Khairo Sanadi, Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Direction, Guidance, and Community Partnership; affiliates of the project; a number of academic staff; and female students.

The ceremony began with a Qur'anic recitation. Then Dr. Amal bint Omar Khairo Sanadi gave a speech that discussed the importance of the university's proximity to the Sacred House. As such, the role of the campaign was to promote the importance of this proximity among the students. She thanked those in charge of the campaign and all the participating entities for their endeavor to make it successful and for their interaction with the female students. She also expressed appreciation for the support of Dr. `Amr bin Taha Al-Saqqaf, the Dean of Student Affairs, for these activities and events. She also thanked the Director of the Female Section in the 'Glorification of the Holy Land' project, Ms. Manal Al-Jabri, and the affiliates of the project.

This was followed by a few words from the Director of the Female Section in the 'Glorification of the Holy Land' project, which was delivered on her behalf by Prof. Nour bint fahd Al-Mun`ami. She thanked all those who participated in this project out of their love and glorification of this blessed country. She also thanked all those who helped the Hajir program of 'Glorification of the Holy Land' project to run the 'My University Is Part of the Holy Land' campaign for seven successive years, during which successive departments and people were in office, each with a different character. She also thanked Dr. Amal bint Omar Khairo Sanadi; Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuly, the Vice-President for Female Student Affairs; and Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudy, the Dean of University Studies, for their support to conducting the campaign to the fullest.

The ceremony included a show about the achievements of the 'My University Is Part of the Holy Land' campaign, and an operetta presented by the affiliates of the 'Glorification of the Holy Land' project. The colleges that participated in the success of the program were also honored. The Faculty of Social Sciences and the Deanship of University Studies for Girls won the award for equal first place.
