The UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholi, inaugurated the Future Entrepreneurs Forum, organized by the Institute of Creativity and Entrepreneurship, in conjunction with the International Day of Entrepreneurship.
The forum was held on Tuesday morning, 5 Rabi` Al-Awwal, in the female section at Al-Zahir in Al-Jawhara Hall. It was attended by a number of the vice-deans and deans of colleges and institutes, a number of academic staff, and students
The forum started with a recitation of the Qur'an, after which the UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs gave a speech in which she stated how the university and His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of the University, are keen to organize the Institute of Creativity and Entrepreneurship's Forum for Future Entrepreneurs. Her Excellency stated that the role of the university is to promote a culture of creativity and entrepreneurship in the academic community and among the students of the university, while creating an integrated environment to support innovation and entrepreneurship.
A video was shown on the role of the Institute of Creativity and Entrepreneurship at the university. A question-and-answer session was then held by the Vice Dean of the Institute of Creativity and Entrepreneurship on the exchange of entrepreneurship-related ideas and experiences. This took place in the presence of Dr. Nura Faruqi, the Vice Dean of the Institute of Research and Consultation Studies; Dr. Kholoud bint Mohamed Aboulnaja, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Activities and Student Training; Dr. Ramia Sindi, the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences; and Dr. Badria Al-Jahdali, the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences for Educational Affairs.
The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences was presented with a shield of appreciation for its participation in the Future Entrepreneurs Forum, which was received by Dr. Ramia Sindi.
