UQU President Launches Sports Club at Al-Lith College of Health Sciences

The President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, launched the sports club at Al-Lith College of Health Sciences during a meeting with the college dean, Dr. Basim bin Abdullah Zafar, the members of the college council, and students.   

 
At the commencement of the meeting, Prof. Bafail welcomed the dean, the members of the college council, and the students and expressed appreciation for the support given to the university by the wise leadership to create a fruitful learning environment. He said work is underway to transform Al-Lith into a college that serves the people of the region by providing a quality educational and academic process that keeps pace with the rapid technological changes of education and research, and an administrative environment that positions Umm Al-Qura University among the leading international universities in line with Saudi Vision 2030. 

   
 
Prof. Bafail added that new majors will be introduced in Al-Lith College for Health Sciences to meet the aspirations of the region's people and cater for the requirements of the labor market. He then praised the support of the Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmad bin Muhammad Al-Issa, for the many activities and events offered by the university. He also lauded the efforts of the dean and members of the college council who have played a significant role in improving the educational outcomes of the college.
 
 

Dr. Zafar praised the support of Prof. Bafail, who has facilitated all the requirements of the educational process and utilized skills to increase the quality of the college's educational and research outcomes. He concluded by wishing success to the 260 students enrolled at all levels for the academic year 1439/1440 A.H.
