The Dean of the College of Engineering and the College of Computer Sciences in Al-Laith, Dr. Muhammad bin Salem Al-Zahrani, participated in welcoming the newcomer students of the academic year 1437/1438H. The meeting was held at the main hall at the University College in Al-Laith, under the auspices of Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, the UQU President, and the generous hospitality of Dr. Hamed Al-Shanbari, the Dean of the University College in Al-Laith.

After starting the meeting with Qur’anic recitation, Dr. Assas welcomed the students and urged them to make every effort to achieve distinction and excellence, and benefit their home country.

Moreover, an information presentation on the various academic disciplines in Al-Laith branch was made, and a documentary on students’ rights was screened. At last, giveaways were distributed to the students.
