The President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail has reviewed at his office at the university campus in Abdyia the   five-year strategic plan of the Designs College in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi, the Dean of Designs College Dr. Hisham bin Abdul-Rahman Maghrabi, College Vice Dean Dr. Sohail Al-Harbi, College Vice Dean for Development Raafat Madani and the Dean of Nursing College the Strategic Expert Dr. Ayman Jawahirji.

During the meeting, he listened to an elaborate presentation by the College Dean about the content and objectives of the college's strategic plan, which was tailored in line with the university's plan including eight goals that achieve different objectives during the coming years. The plan involved all the staff of the college including; faculty members, male and female students. The plan also includes the development of the college's infrastructure, study plans of the departments, training courses and programs, graduate studies programs and the qualification of the specialized cadres in the designs fields to keep pace with the Kingdom Vision 2030.  

Meanwhile, the UQU President lauded the efforts exerted by the college to develop the educational and academic environment, qualify male and female students to the labor market to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership wishing success for everyone. 
For his part, the College Dean Dr. Hisham Maghrabi extended his thanks to the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Bafail and the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi for supporting all the activities, programs, and plans of the college. He also extended his thanks to the college affiliates for their dedication to their work in the college.
