Deanship of Scientific Research Organizes a Symposium Titled: Dimensions of the National Vision 2030 in the Research Outlets

The UQU Deanship of Scientific Research organized a scientific forum titled: "Dimensions of the National Vision 2030 in the Research Outlets" on Monday Muharram 21, 1440 H  at Al-Jawhara Hall at the headquarters of the Deanship of University Studies for Girls in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy, the Dean of University Studies for Girls Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, the Vice Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Hanadi Al-Bihairi and the female vice deans and  faculty members.    


After initiating the forum with a Quranic recitation, the UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy delivered address explaining that the scientific research is the keystone of the cultural building of the advanced communities and one of the pillars of the comprehensive development and its driving force to achieve knowledge competitiveness and increase productivity and economic welfare. To that end, she said the Saudi Vision was planned in coincidence with the developments of the modern era and to achieve the sought-after future aspirations in such a manner that will create a qualitative leap in our community towards progress and advancement. She added that scientific research is one of its implementation tools and unwavering steps to achieve the goals and objective of the vision indicating that the forum was intended to mobilize motivation and research capacities and direct scientific research routes towards achieving goals and aspirations of the vision.  

     
 
Further, Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy extended her thanks and appreciation to the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Bafail for the support provided for whatever upgrades the university. She also extended her thanks to the UQU Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Thamir Al-Harbi, and the Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Ahdal for organizing this symposium, which will achieve a scientific, and research momentum in line with the goals and aspirations of the vision and will support the research strategies of the university. 

 
After that, the activities of the symposium launched whereas Wadi Makkah Company made a presentation about (Businesses Incubation and Acceleration in the National Vision), while Dr. Mayson Al-Binayyan from the Deanship of Scientific Research spoke about the (Contributions of the Graduate Studies in achieving the Kingdom Vision 2030), Dr. Najwa Samarqandi from the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship spoke about the (Role of Patents and Entrepreneurship Projects in achieving the Kingdom Vision 2030), whilst Dr. Noura Al-Farouqi, the Vice Dean of the Consulting Research and Studies, made a presentation about the (Role of the Consulting Research and Studies Institute in building knowledge-based economy to achieve the Kingdom Vision 2030). The Deanship of Library Affairs also made a presentation about the (Digital Information Databases and then the symposium was concluded by a presentation made by the Vice Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Hanadi Al-Bihairi about the (Targets for the National Research Centers in the National Vision).   
 


Wrapping up the symposium, the UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy honored the female participants in the symposium.
