The Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Mohammed Saleh bin Taher Bentin honored the Head of Media Department at Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Mohammad Ali Mohammad Hendiah as one of the members of the Arbitration Committee of the Ministry of Hajj's Award for media works during the honoring ceremony held by the Ministry at Hilton Jeddah Hotel.
The Minister of Hajj praised Dr. Hendiah for the efforts he exerted together with the members of the arbitration committee.
For his part, Dr. Hendiah extended his thanks to the Minister for the confidence he entrusted on him and his colleges in the award committee. He said that media is Hajj's right arm and truthful assistant which transmitted Hajj's rituals to all parts of the world in an honest and objective manner and refuted all false allegations aimed at disparaging the proficient management of the Hajj season by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These allegations he said, were proven unsuccessful because of the vigilance of our brave security men in charge of Hajj security.
He also extended his thanks to the UQU President Dr. Assas for his directives to cooperate with all parties involved in providing services for pilgrims.
