His Excellency Prof. Abdulaziz Serouji, Vice President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) for Educational Affairs – on behalf of His Excellency UQU President – and His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Hassan Bukhari, Dean of the Institute, inaugurated the distinguished training program “Safeer Skills Program for Scholarship Students’ Qualification,” in the courses hall on the third floor at the Institute. It is one of the programs of the charity fund for supporting scholarship programs at UQU, in cooperation with Bunyan Training Co. Ltd.

The inauguration was attended by His Excellency Prof. Saeed Al-Harthi, Dean of Graduate Studies; His Excellency Dr. Talal Muthanna, Vice Dean of Students Affairs; Dr. Abdullah Al-Shanqiti, Supervisor of UQU’s media center; and a number of the faculty members at the Institute and board members of the charity fund.

The target group is scholarship students in graduate studies, whose number exceeded sixty. Training packages included a training on professional skills through the following training material:

3. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills
4. Institutional Work
5. Introduction to Project Building
6. Applications of the Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) of Priorities
7. Skills for Dealing with New Converts to Islam
8. Report Writing Skills
9. Skills of Utilizing Technology in Da’wa (Islamic Call) 
10. Prophetic Methods in Handling Mistakes 
11. The Concept of Introducing Islam
12. Shielding against Extremist Imami Thought (a Shia Islamic Thought)
