Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Ba-Hussein Bafeel, President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), issued an administrative decision to amend the name of the (UQU Vision Initiatives Management Office), so as to name the organizational unit for the management of initiatives at the university as (Initiatives Management and Vision Achievement Office), and it will be directly linked to the President in all aspects of the University's initiatives in the vision programs of Saudi Arabia 2030, the National Transition Program 2020, and the objectives of the University.

This decision came to coordinate the efforts within the university to work in accordance with the framework of the national transition program 2020 governance in the education sector, and to achieve high quality outputs according to strategic planning to achieve the required development requirements and to contribute to realizing the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030.

He also issued a decree appointing Dr. Ehab bin Abdulrahim bin Abdullah Malibari as a General Supervisor of the UQU’s Initiatives Management and Vision Achievement Office, and a Liaison Officer with the Ministry of Education in all aspects of the University's initiatives in the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030, the National Transition Program 2020; as of 01-01-1440 AH, praying to Allah the Almighty to help him to perform duties towards science and its students, and raise this university to reach the desired goal.

For his part, Dr. Ehab Malibari appreciated the trust of UQU President by appointing him as the General Supervisor of the UQU’s Initiatives Management and Vision Achievement Office and the Liaison Officer with the Ministry of Education in all aspects related to the University's initiatives in the vision programs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 and the National Transition Program 2020.  He pointed out that he will strive to provide all scientific, administrative and academic expertise to improve the working environment in accordance with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2030, in accordance with the National Transition Plan 2020.
