The Acting UQU President who serves also as the Supervisor General of the Hajj working committees in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi has paid an inspection visit to the premises of the institute in the holy sites and the headquarters of the institute. He was accompanied by the Dean of the Institute Dr. Atef bin Hussein Asghar, a number of heads of the departments and the employees of the Institute.    
 

He started his inspection tour by visiting a number of departments including environmental and health research department and listened to an elaborate presentation by the head of the department Dr. Turki bin Mohamed Habibullah on the studies and researches conducted by the department during the current Hajj season. He also viewed the modern technologies available in the laboratories of the department and was briefed on their usage mechanism.     
 

After that, he visited the premises of the Institute in Mina and Arafat and viewed their different departments and contained equipment and highlighted the role of the Institute in the fields of studies and researches serving the Two Holy Cities and the Holy Sites and intended to upgrade the services provided for the guests of Allah. He underscored that the University will support the Institute and its premises with all that serves the research process and help the researchers to perform their tasks in the most convenient manner possible.
