Community Service College Honors Participants in the Admission to Evening Qualifying and Preparatory Year Programs

The College of Community Service and Continuing Education at Umm Al-Qura University honored those involved in the admission process to the Evening Qualifying and Preparatory Year Programs in the presence of the head of the educational programs and the supervisor general of the Evening Qualifying and Preparatory Year Programs Dr. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Akwaa. The honoring ceremony took place at King Saud Grand Hall in Abdyia in the sideline of the New-Students Forum for the academic year 1439/1440 H. 

 

In this regard, Dr. Khalid Al-Akwaa said that the Community College seeks to serve the community through its quality programs besides giving the opportunity to the sons of the community whose measured proportions have not qualified them in the regular admission, to apply via the Admission Portal to the Evening Preparatory Year and Qualifying Year program and prove their efficiency to complete  their educational march.  

He explained that in collaboration with a number of scientific and theoretical colleges and in partnership with the Deanships of Admission and Registration and Information Technology, the college accepted students in the Colleges of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, Applied Sciences, D'awa and Fundamentals of Religion, as well as the College of Islamic Economics and Finances, in addition to the University Colleges in Jamoum, Al-Lith and Al-Qunfudhah.

 
He mentioned that the applicants must obtain a cumulative average of not less than 2 out of 4, and not to obtain a deprived estimate for a large number of absences during the period of study in any curriculum, and the attendance at the university shall be in one of the specializations associated with the College, which was accepted according to the applicable instructions and standards.

 

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Al-Akwaa honored the team involved in the admission process to Evening Qualifying and Preparatory Year Programs including Deanship of Admission and Registration represented by the Vice Dean for Technical Affairs Dr. Khalid Al-Thaqafi, the Deanship of Information Technology represented by the Vice Dean of IT for e-Transactions Dr. Atef Hejaili, Eng. Ashraf Asfour. He also honored the team working in the Programs, Training, and Diploma in the college.
