The members of UQU Strategic Team of Empowerment Plan "Tamkeen 2023" reviewed the developmental plan of the Makkah region to include its main objectives within the plan's work in the coming period. This came during the fourth meeting for the members of the team held at the university campus in Abdyia. 

The members of the team also reviewed a number of reports related to the standards of different rankings of the international universities granted by the internationally certified commissions and organizations to the universities, which meet standards of each ranking. This came as part of the keenness to achieve advanced ranking upgrading the educational status of Umm Al-Qura entity. 

Further, the members of the team discussed a number of topics on the agenda including; the plan's logo and visual identity, the work plan of the team members during the coming period besides the suggestions and opinions so as to come up with applicable strategic plan harnessing information from the virtual reality of the educational, academic and research environment in the university. 

It should be noted that "Tamkeen plan" enjoys the support and attention of the UQU President Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail and the direct supervision of the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi. Its membership includes a number of experts and specialists in strategic planning and all related fields.
