President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail has issued an administrative order to establish a center under the name: "the Achievement and Rapid Intervention Center " directly reporting to him.
The decision comes as part of the university's vision to follow-up its initiatives & projects, and ensure achieving them within the specified time and to rapidly intervene to modify the executive plans or implement alternative plans to avoid stumbling and failure in achieving the set goals besides developing a preventive and curative system to address crises.
He also issued a decision assigning Dr. Hamdan bin Darweesh bin Gharmullah Al-Ghamdi to be the Supervisor General of the Achievement and Rapid Intervention Center as of Dhul-Hijjah 1, 1439 H in addition to his work as the Supervisor General of the Legal Department. He wished him good luck in his new position and called upon him to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
For his part, Dr. Hamdan Al-Ghamdi valued the confidence entrusted in him by the UQU President to assume the tasks of the Supervisor General of the Achievement and Rapid Intervention Center assuring that with Allah's blessing, he will be up to the UQU President's expectations, stressing that he will harness all his scientific, administrative and academic expertise to upgrade the work environment in the Center in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan 2020.
