Supervisor General of University Projects: We Aim to Complete Girls University Campus and Achieve Projects

The Advisor to the UQU President and Supervisor General of the Projects Department Dr. Mohamed bin Wasil Al-Hazmi said that the strategy of the Projects Department within Empowerment Plan "Tamkeen 2023" is represented in completing the Girls University Campus at Abdyia, the University Hospital and the Project of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research. 

 

"The strategy also includes completing the building of the College of Pharmacy, the building of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abdyia, the buildings of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Al-Lith University College and the renovation of the buildings of Adhm University College", he elaborated. 

 

This came during his meeting with the Empowerment Plan "Tamkeen" Team to discuss the strategic directions of the project. The meeting took place at his office in the General Department of Projects in Abdyia. 

 

Al-Hazmi added that:" the university endeavors to make the actual space allocated for each student inside the study classes and laboratories with the internationally recognized areas particularly in the medical, scientific literally specializations".

  

He went on to add that the visual environment will be improved inside the university campus in terms of landscaping, green spaces, providing the largest number of shaded parking, and enhancing the aesthetics of the university entrances. 

 

On their part, the members of "Tamkeen" Team praised the transparency adopted by the Advisor Dr.  Mohamed Al-Hazmi while presenting the issues related to the projects that meet the requirements of the university affiliates and upgrade the educational and research outputs. They added that these new projects will also become cultural and civilizational assets for Makkah and its visitors.
