The UQU Vice President for Branches Dr. Abdul-Majid bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi said: the strategy of the UQU vice Presidency for Branches within the university's empowerment plan “Tamkeen" is to give the needed importance to investing the lands allocated to the university in Al-Sharaei and Kudai districts and the unused sites inside the university campus in Abdyia besides adopting the slogan of "University campus without barriers". He referred to the importance of giving more attention to the university branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Al-Qunfudhah, and Adhm within the next university plan to complete the infrastructure in these branches and create a proper academic and research environment. 

This came during his meeting with UQU Strategic Team of Empowerment Plan "Tamkeen" 2023 to discuss the trends of the UQU vice Presidency for Branches during the coming period. The meeting took place in the office of the UQU Vice President for Branches in Abdyia.

During the meeting, the UQU Strategic Team of Empowerment Plan "Tamkeen" reviewed the university's mission, vision, and values and explored the strategic aspirations of the UQU vice Presidency for Branches with regard to the human and logistic requirements of the university branches. The meeting also discussed the investment file and in what way the university can make use of its real-estate assets in its main campus in Makkah and its branches in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030 in order to invest in the university's own resources.
