UQU Strategic Planning Unit discussed in its first meeting with the university strategic planning team the stages and objectives of the plan tailored in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030. The meeting took place at the meeting hall of the university campus in Abdyia.

On this occasion, the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi said the objective behind this meeting is to introduce the team's work plan and its stages designed to make the strategic plan coming in an integrated form using Balanced Scorecard in such manner that serves the university objectives designed in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030 in accordance with the local, regional and international indicators.   

He said the professional roles related to the work team were distributed and formed successively depending on the continuing needs of the plan from one hand, and the tasks assigned to each member in the team in line with the available qualifications and capacities from the other hand. He then lauded the support of the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Bafail and his attention paid to the university's strategic plan, which will contribute to upgrading the educational and research outcomes wishing success and progress for the team members.  

   
He further said the team agreed on the mechanism of distributing and supervising the extended meetings set to formulate the university's strategic plan 2023 in addition to the college's plans derived from the university's basic plan indicating that work on this plan will be continued until the end of Rajab 1440 H.
