UQU President and Supervisor General of UQU Vision Initiatives Management Office Prof. Abdullah Omar Bafail headed on Tuesday Dhul-Qe'dah 4, 1439 H corresponding to July 17, 2018, at his office at the university campus in Abdyia a meeting set to check on achievement rate, workflow, and challenges facing initiatives implementation. Present in the meeting were; UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Deputy Supervisor General of the UQU Vision Initiatives Management Office Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi, UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou, Director of UQU Vision Initiatives Management Office Dr. Mohamed bin Jaafar Thabit, and their excellences the Deans and owners of the initiatives including; the Dean of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute Dr. Mowfaq Oreijah, the Dean of Consulting Research and Studies Insititute Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari, Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Amro Al-Saggaf, Vice Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Abdullah Al-Baz, Director General of Planning and Budget Mr. Faisal Al-Dahas, Director General of Financial Affairs Mr. Mohamed AboAl-Naja, Director General of Purchasing Department Mr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Otaibi, and the Follow-up officer at the UQU Vision Initiatives Management Office Dr. Kamal Qadri.
At the commencement of the meeting, Dr. Hani Ghazi delivered speech extending his thanks to the UQU President for his keenness and continuous follow-up of the workflow in the office. After that, the UQU President listened to brief presentations by the owners of the initiatives on the work plans in their initiatives and the achievement rate up to date besides challenges that might face implementation of these initiatives in the set time.
He then ordered removing all obstacles facing initiatives implementation and urged the initiatives owners to intensify their efforts, swiftly achieve their initiatives and invest the generous support provided by the wise government led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud and the Heir Apparent HRH Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz to develop the university education in the Kingdom and achieve the objectives of the wise vision the thing which contributed to selecting five national universities amongst the top 200 universities at the global level.
