The President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, received on Wednesday 13 Shawwal 1439AH, corresponding with 27 June 2018, the master’s dissertation of researcher Salah Mohamed Al-Husseini from the College of Strategic Sciences in Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. This took place at the library of the university campus in Al-Abideyah. The dissertation was entitled:  “The Strategic Role of the National Center for Performance Measurement of Public Agencies (Adaa) in Achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision”
Dr. Bafail praised the content of the dissertation, wishing the researcher the best of luck and continuing conducting studies in this field.
The study summarized several conclusions as follows: The administrative laws and regulations as well as the agencies developed by Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, have all enhanced the position of the kingdom in terms of the methodology of performance measurement, both regionally and internationally. The study pointed out that KSA is the first country in the Arab world to pass bills of performance measurement for government agencies across the country. It is also the first Arab country to establish an independent body to implement the methodology of measuring the performance of government bodies. This dissertation is deemed the first in KSA about the National Center for Performance Measurement of Public Agencies.
For his part, the researcher thanked Dr. Bafail for the reception and warm welcome, asking Allah to help him remain as good as expected.
