The President of Umm Al-Qura University Prof. Abdullah Omar Bafail said the noble royal decrees reflect the insightful vision of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud and his wise government aimed at developing all fields and modernizing various sectors and work system to keep pace with the National Vision 2030 launched by the Kingdom and restructuring some public commissions and agencies in line with the requirements of the current and future phase leading to a prosperous future and sustainable national development.

He underscored that the royal decree enacting the creation of a Royal Commission for Makkah, Madinah, and the Holy Sites to be managed by a board of directors headed by the deputy premier reflects the attention paid by the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques to Makkah,  Madinah and the Holy Sites and their visitors including pilgrims and Umrah doers.

He added that the noble decrees are reckoned a qualitative leap in the system of the national work and to boost its higher benefits towards development. "These decrees also contribute to the citizens' welfare, active participation and their role in serving their nation and community", he expounded.

Wrapping up his statement, he prayed to Allah to perpetuate upon this country its security and prosperity under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the heir apparent and to crown their efforts with success for the benefit of this country and its citizens.
