The President of Umm Al-Qura University Prof. Abdullah Omar Bafail launched at his office at the university campus in Abdyia Ibn Al-Mubarak Electronic Maqraa in the presence of the Chairman of Board of Directors of Farhan bin Al-Mubarak Al-Qahtani Institution Dr. Ayedh bin Mubarak Al-Qahtani, the Supervisor General of the Maqraa Dr. Ahmed Al-Firaih, the members of the board of directors of the institution and the members of the Saudi Scientific Association for the Sciences of the Holy Qur'an (Tibyan).
Following the launching ceremony, the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Bafail praised such outstanding initiatives interested in teaching the Holy Quran and its sciences and in serving the community. He then prayed to Allah to grant success to all those in charge of this initiative.
For his part, the Chairman of Board of Directors of Farhan bin Al-Mubarak Al-Qahtani Institution Dr. Ayedh Al-Qahtani extended his thanks and appreciation to the UQU President and the university leadership to give them the opportunity to organize such initiative designed to serve the Quran and its sciences. He also extended his thanks to the members of the Saudi Scientific Association for the Sciences of the Holy Qur'an (Tibyan) for their keenness to organize this project in such outstanding manner.
It should be mentioned that this initiative is reckoned one of the initiatives of Farhan bin Al-Mubarak Al-Qahtani Institution to serve the community overseen by (Tibyan) office at Umm Al-Qura University through the Egraa and Ijazah programs. The Maqraa was launched via the direct audio technology by Quran reciters approved in the 10 recognized schools of Qira'at. Registration is open for the Hafez (memorizers) of Qur'an from anywhere.
